Blue Springs Pet Resort Bathing Services
At Blue Springs Pet Resort we offer pet bathing and lo shed services to clients in Blue Springs and the surrounding Kansas City areas. Our experienced and caring staff will pamper your pets with TLC and send them home looking and feeling great!
Standard Bathing Service
Standard bathing is offered by our pet resort staff for pets who need a simple bath, but do not require their hair coat shaved, trimmed, thinned, de-matted, or otherwise treated or styled.
Our standard service includes a cleansing bath, light brushing, nail trim, and ear cleaning. We will also express the anal glands if needed or requested.
Premium Bathing and Lo Shed Services
Premium Bubble Baths
A premium bubble bath includes all the services of a standard bath, plus a deep scrub and massage, hand drying and fluffing, extended brushing, trimming of the foot pads and sanitary areas if needed, and light mat removal (2-3 localized mats). Additional fees apply for moderate localized mat removal ($11-$22). Our bathers cannot treat widespread matting which requires shaving of the face or body by a professional groomer.
Lo Shed Treatments
Special shampoos and intensive work with de-shedding brushes can be used to remove excess hair and reduce shedding. Low shed is not NO shed, but reduces shedding significantly for about 4 weeks. The pictures below show a dog before and after a lo shed treatment which removed a significant amount of loose hair.
Frequent Premium Bather Program
Lo Shed is most effective at reducing shedding when dogs are treated at least every 4 weeks. If your previous Premium Bath/Lo Shed treatment was within the last 4 weeks you will receive a $10 discount off the Premium Bath/Lo Shed.
We recommend scheduling your next Premium Bath/Lo Shed treatment at the time of discharge. We have limited availability for Premium Baths/Lo Shed and it is wise to reserve your appointment in advance to maintain your discounted schedule.
Professional Grooming
If your pet needs their face or body shaved or styled in a breed specific groom then they will need an appointment with a professional groomer.
Blue Springs Animal Hospital & Pet Resort does not offer professional grooming services, but there are many reputable groom shops in the local area.
